Munchkin Review: Munchkin 7 - Cheat with Both Hands
This is the sixth expansion to the original fantasy-themed Munchkin deck, although honestly, it can integrate with any other deck. The purpose of this expansion is to manage a whole lot of cards, specifically if you mix any two or three decks together (you can do that, just in case you didn't know). So, instead of getting a lot of items you can’t use because you’re not a certain race, this expansion gives a huge amount of Cheat! cards, allowing you to bypass that problem.
'Enhanced' Cards
There are no new cards in this expansion, at least not in the way of Dungeons, new Races and Classes, or Steeds, but more powerful versions of previously established cards. An Ultra-Munchkin allows you to utilize three different Classes at once, similar to the 1/3 Breed which is the same for Races. There's also single cards that allow unlimited Races or Classes. There are Cheat! cards that allow you to utilize two illegal cards, or even more ridiculous Cheat cards that allow you to utilize any number of items for a single turn. There's also a ton of Wandering Monsters and cards that allow far more than one monster to join in a single combat.
The Opposition
There’s a handful of low level monsters as well, in order to make leveling easier. On the other hand, these low level monsters have usually nasty effects tied to them. One monster doesn’t allow you to use any items requiring hands, while another doesn’t allow you to use help in this combat. Sure, they’re level 1, what’s the big deal? Well, with Munchkin 7, there’s a huge host of Wandering Monsters and other card types that mimic Wandering Monster, only to a greater and more dangerous scale. Whatever effect a low level monster has is carried over by all the monsters currently in combat. Including a level 1 monster into a combat might not make the monster’s combat level higher, but it may drastically reduce yours.
Personal Thoughts
If you have a lot of munchkin expansions and/or decks, it might be wise to get this. If you’ve collected all of the original munchkin expansions, this expansion can definitely help with the cards unable to be used, going from your hand to the discard pile immediately. However, definitely do not get this expansion if you don’t have any others. You’ll have more items you’re using Cheat! for then you will have equipped the normal way.

More Munchkin
That's it for this expansion! It's by far my favorite expansion, possibly moreso than any expansion for any other thematic deck, including other Dungeon expansions. Even better, it can be added easily enough to other themed decks. Next time I'll discuss Munchkin 8: Half Horse, Will Travel, an expansion that gives you two more races, one that bolsters with a previous class for unparalleled broken power, and some other cards .
I've got plenty more Munchkin Custom Card Ideas! Also, as I've spent far too money on numerous Munchkin decks and expansions, I can tell you which ones are worth it, which aren't, and why.
